We have extensive experience successfully assessing, counseling and supporting varying client populations in multiple settings, We have multiple bilingual specialized professionals for your service and care. We specialize in all types of psychological disorders. We provide parenting classes, marriage counseling, psychotherapy for all age groups, group family therapy, play therapy for children, students with academic and behavioral problems, response prevention and more.

STEPHANIE TOLLI-ABRAHAM

CLINICAL DIRECTOR LMHC

A St. John’s University Graduate of the Masters in Education, Clinical Mental Health Counseling program, Stephanie is our Bilingual Clinical Director. Prior to obtaining her License in Mental Health Counseling and her master’s degree, Stephanie received her BA in Forensic Psychology from John Jay College of Criminal Justice and has obtained experience in both Non & For Profit Organizations. Stephanie’s eclectic therapeutic approaches include Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectic Behavior Therapy, Psychodynamic & Solution Focused Therapy & has experience in treating children, adolescents, adults, couples & families dealing with various disorders & life stressors.

MARIO ARRENDELL

CLINICAL SUPERVISOR LMSW, CASAC

Mario graduated from John Jay College in 2015 with a Masters in Forensic Mental Health Counseling. He became a Licensed Mental Health Counselor in 2018. He is a Certified Alcoholism and Substance Abuse Counselor and trained in conducting DWI assessments. He provides services to children, adolescents, adults, couples and families. Mario specializes in working with individuals with co-occurring disorders. He uses a variety of therapeutic approaches including but not limited to Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Person-Centered Therapy, Motivational Interviewing and Solution Focused Therapy. Mario believes in a strength based approach that is holistic and guided by the individual needs of the client.

CHRISTINE SALAZAR

CLINICAL SUPERVISOR LCSW

Christine has experience as both a direct practice clinician and a clinical supervisor. Christine has dedicated more than thirteen years of her career as a social worker to working with community based organizations and schools, primarily serving some of the toughest, most under-served communities. Prior to joining Partnership with Children, Christine served multiple roles at the Puerto Rican Family Institute, Inc. including, Clinic Director of the Brooklyn Mental Health Clinic. Christine has a Master’s degree in Social Work from New York University as well as postmaster’s training in Clinical Practice with Adolescents and Executive Leadership in the Not-for-Profit Sector from NYU. Christine is a member of the National Association of Social Workers. Chistine specializes in working with children, adolescents and families with a concentration in childhood trauma. Christine has been providing clinical supervision for over 7 years.

RAQUEL RADO

CLINICAL SUPERVISOR LCSW

Raquel Rado is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with a passion for supporting children and teenagers facing the challenges of trauma, anxiety, and depression. She earned her Bachelor’s degree in Psychology and her Master’s in Social Work from the University of Central Florida, where she developed a strong foundation in mental health care. She specializes in Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT) and Motivational Interviewing, utilizing evidence-based approaches to help clients process their experiences, develop coping skills, and foster resilience. Raquel also incorporates creative interventions, such as therapeutic play and expressive techniques, to meet the unique needs of her young clients. Her work focuses on empowering children and teens to discover their inner strengths, enhance emotional well-being, and achieve a brighter future.

ANGELA DIAZ

CLINICAL SUPERVISOR LMHC

Angela is a bilingual, Latina psychotherapist with five years of experience in the clinical treatment of adults who are presenting emotional distress as well as symptoms of depression, anxiety, and other types of mood and behavioral disturbances, inclusive of adjustment disorder. She is culturally competent and informed approach to treatment focuses on stressors of daily life as well as traumatic experiences that present as impairments to functioning.
 

LAURA ROJAS

CLINICAL SUPERVISOR LCSW

Laura is a Spanish/English Bilingual Clinical Social Worker, obtained her Masters Degree in 2017 from CUNY Lehman College in Bronx, NY. Laura has over 7 years of experience within Behavioral Health and Care Management throughout the Healthcare System. Laura has provided services to children, adolescents, adults, and families; with a special focus on supporting seniors living with chronic and co-occurring conditions in NYC. Laura utilizes therapeutic approaches including but not limited to Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Person-Centered Therapy, Motivational Interviewing and Solution Focused Therapy.

DARIO MARCHENA

CLINICAL SUPERVISOR LMSW

Bilingual Clinician obtaining his Master of Social Work Degree from Fordham University; Post-Grad Certificate in Non/For Profit Organizational Leadership and Master’s in Administrative Science from Fairleigh Dickinson University; and a BS and AAS in Aviation Studies from Excelsior College. Dario is a retired US Army OEF veteran and retired law enforcement officer/pilot. Dario utilizes an eclectic approach incorporating best practices from DBT, CBT, Motivational Interviewing, Solution Focused Brief Therapy, and Psychoeducation with a wide range of counseling experience across a variety of treatment settings that include: Certified Community Behavioral Health Clinic, private group practice, non-profit community based services, and the VA-VetCenter. Dario serves adolescents, adults, children, couples, families, and groups.

 

DAIBELIS NUNEZ

CLINICAL SUPERVISOR LCSW

Daibelis Nunez is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker specializing in working with teenagers and adults. Daibelis graduated from the Silberman School of Social Work at Hunter College. With over 7 years of prior experience in case management, she transitioned to psychotherapy in 2019. Fluent in both Spanish and English, Daibelis provides a client-centered approach to therapy, drawing from a range of modalities such as Person-Centered Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), positive psychology, and more. She focuses on creating a compassionate and non-judgmental space for individuals to explore and address various mental health challenges and emotional concerns.
